Spark Broadband

Spark New Zealand Limited is a New Zealand telecommunications and digital services company providing fixed-line telephone services, mobile phone services, broadband, and digital technology services (including cloud, security, digital transformation, and managed services). Its customers range from consumers to small - medium business, government agencies and large enterprise clients.

It was formerly known as Telecom New Zealand until it was rebranded to Spark on 8 August 2014. It has operated as a publicly traded company since 1990. Spark's mobile network reaches 98% of New Zealand, with over 2.7 million mobile connections and 687,000 broadband connections.

Desperately needs some pros to replace the amateurs.

We been with NZ Post Office/Telecom/Spark for over 45 years.
The last 5 monthly bills have all had a massive error.
They charging us for 100/30 & 200/30 at same time.
Each month we ring up and tell them and they correct it, but for 5 months

Speed pretty good I average 96/30

Cant sort their sodden billing out

Not very competitive on price, until you threaten to switch to another ISP, then price reductions are suddenly offered

Probably the best for speed on ADSL(can't get VDSL & no fibre till 2018 here in Te Atatu)
Cons
Terrible customer wait times to get through to them if u are having speed or connection issues (always in the wet winter months with copper lines)

Stuck for 12mth on VDSL. Price is crazy!

- support (waiting for hours to call them. 15 min of waiting to have an "on-line chat" - it's not on-line...)
