Spark Broadband

Spark New Zealand Limited is a New Zealand telecommunications and digital services company providing fixed-line telephone services, mobile phone services, broadband, and digital technology services (including cloud, security, digital transformation, and managed services). Its customers range from consumers to small - medium business, government agencies and large enterprise clients.

It was formerly known as Telecom New Zealand until it was rebranded to Spark on 8 August 2014. It has operated as a publicly traded company since 1990. Spark's mobile network reaches 98% of New Zealand, with over 2.7 million mobile connections and 687,000 broadband connections.

Everything is fine with the connections it self. The Fiber connection price is not comparative enough. They were charging $95 a month where as other companies were providing the same at lower prices.
Pros
almost always the connection speed(Fiber) hits more than 100MBPS for spark Naked100 plan.
99% reliable just a couple of glitches in a year.. so very good.
Cons
Connection price is at the nigh end for a basic fiber 100/20 MB connection.

Have to reboot VDSL modem every day. Two different modems have this problem, so presumably the problem is at Spark's end. Maybe not investing in old-tech now that fibre is coming?
Spark is expensive, but had us locked in for years with email. Have now changed to GMail and are shopping for a better deal.
