Very, very slow at times. Terrible support - phoned and had to leave messages, took 3 weeks to get set up. Different staff had different stories. Would never use them again.

Present isp contract is for copper.
Their fibre plan is relatively expensive, and 2year contract period with prohibitive $250 break fee

Have to reboot VDSL modem every day. Two different modems have this problem, so presumably the problem is at Spark's end. Maybe not investing in old-tech now that fibre is coming?
Spark is expensive, but had us locked in for years with email. Have now changed to GMail and are shopping for a better deal.

was super easy to set up. modem arrived the next day, chorus connected the day after and we had email and text updates the whole time. even got an email saying that they couldn't see any data usage and asked if we had had issues setting up. it's all going and I'm super happy. currently the vdsl speed is fine for music and movies but too early to comment on reliability. Happy customer

Left 2 degrees after appalling service during and after the jump to fibre.

Cons

Chorus changeover left us with no phone and no active alarm . Once this was resolved we had poor voice quality with 2 degrees repeatedly failing to resolve over 10 days. The alternative supplier solved the problem in under 20 minutes.

Trying to communicate with idiots that have no idea and the time wastage is huge.
