Customer for a few years, as the price has increased the speed has slowed down considerably. Daily lag spikes, now over 80ms to australian servers constantly. Support unwilling to resolve the problems when given clear test data showing speed issues caused upstream of end user.

Would give a 0 if possible. Unreliable, dishonest and the workers are clueless. They took alot more money from my account that we agreed upon, acknowledged it was a system error on their end and agreed to a refund.......let's just say im still waiting, they are extremely hard to get a reply from and have opened an investigation with the UDL.
STAY AWAY PEOPLE

None at all, everything they offer other companies also offer (if you ring and ask) and nowhere near the cheapest. Don't understand how they have any customers

Very poor accounting overcharged me $58 after disconnect. Terrible gaming ,packet loss and nat issues.

Doesn't compare to starlink. Often low speeds especially for fibre, sitting around 30mbps. Not good for games

I have been with Hotshot on their basic plan and till I lost connection was acceptable. Connection lost, I had to insist on a technician calling. This happened within 24 hours but I had to lodge $199 with them before they would allow this. The fault was outside my premises boundaries an over a week later still waiting for a refund.

Worst Telco experience in my 50+ years, personal & business. Avoid like Covid!!!
Faceless company you can't call who hide behind messaging and cut you off when the end of shift bell rings.
3 weeks without internet which cost us money and time and once they ran out of ideas they blamed Enable and logged a job with them but never heard back.
We rang another company (Kiwiwifi.nz) and spoke to a real person in NZ who had us up and running in 2 days so draw your own conclusions ...read more

Signed up when I needed a reliable connection at a cheap price and got the best help setting up my own router. Have stayed with this provider for several years and have since upgraded my connection for a bigger household. Super wonderful service and high quality internet!!

Great internet, great service, quick and clear communication, competitive prices, BYO router

Cons

Might be tricky if you aren’t super tech savvy as you need to set up your own router but I would encourage everyone to learn the basics of how their internet works anyways
